Infection possible: Could be anything from a viral cold to a strep viral infection.  Could be from snoring, perhaps a breathing problem.  Start w your md/do and have a full evaluation to determine what's wrong and what can be done to fix it.

Rest: Antibiotics don't treat flus so the best is to take brufen and drink alot of fluids,stay hydrated and your immunity system will do its job,also rest and sleep it is important,you can take some vitamins to help your immunity system

Dry Mouth: Highly unlikely that it's hiv. Most commonly it is a side effect of other medications, such as blood pressure medication.
If you are in a high-risk group for hiv, discuss your concerns and have an overall examination with your physician.

If this is persistent, you may need to check with your doctor to see if your nose is blocked. If you are that concerned over getting hiv, you should be more careful in selecting your partners and make sure they they wear a condom as well.
