: In the absence of other symptoms or signs, I would consider this a nonserious &amp; nonspecific symptom. It may have to do with minor irritability of superficial peripheral scalp nerves. I'd expect such irritability to resolve on its own. If the symptom persists, consult your physician or a neurologist for evaluation and advice.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity at tolerated.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Anxiety...: My best recommendation is to see your doctor for evaluation. Anxiety can definitely cause physical symptoms but we cannot make a final diagnosis without a formal exam and tests as needed. If the problem is determined to be caused by anxiety only then you would be referred to a professional who can provide therapy for you.

A number of things: This could be related to a number of things.  If it affects that thigh area, may be meralgia paresthestica.  But like most things, if it does not improve, seek care.

Possible: As your symptoms move to different areas and are not consistent, anxiety is definitely a possibility, but other systemic disorders can cause this.  See a doctor and have your b12, thyroid, electrolytes and even a lyme test.  Do not assume anxiety and ignore these, see a doctor to discuss and delineate your symptoms.

Neuritis: you may have a nerve irritation or compression. I suggest a complete physical exam and testing.
