Yes: I believe that "nos" appended to any diagnosis stands for "non-specified", and is a coding and billing term used to indicte that the doctor has chosen not to subcategorize the disorder, in this case a bi-polar disorder.  As such, "nos" provides no insight about seriousness.

See below: Nos (not otherwise specified) means there are symptoms of disordered eating, but that there is not enough information at the time of diagnosis to better specify the type of disorder, or that the disorder doesn't quite fit the diagnostic criteria for something specific.  This diagnosis still suggests, however, that eating is somehow disordered and treatment indicated.

NOS means: not otherwise specified.  NOS is used at the end of a diagnosis when it is very general.  GAD is more specific and refers to a type of anxiety that manifests in many circumstances and is not triggered by a specific situation nor is it panic attacks.  Peace and good health.

PDD: Pdd means pervasive developmental disorder.   It is no longer in use in the usa.  It is part of the autism spectrum disorder, and should be referred to as an autism spectrum disorder.  It is usually a less severe form than classic autism.

You have to be informed, understand the treatment plan, which includes behavioral interventions that deal with the melt downs. Please schedule regular sessions with the person who gave you the diagnoses.

I : I wonder if at least some of the undesirable symptoms that you described could be due to the medications that you are taking or interactions between the medications. Could you please post the list of your medications including their daily dose? It might be possible then to comment more on the potential cause of these symptoms.

Bronchitis: Maybe it is allergies. In ohio right now the weeds are a blooming so it might be an asthma/allergy exacerbation. I would hope your doctor has considered treating you.
