will anything bad or seriously harmful happen if i take nyquil a few hours after cocaine? i understand nyquil is not a sleep medication... however i'm trying to find out if the two will react negatively in the body. thank you?

: First, I would recommend quitting cocaine. Second, using cocaine along with NyQuil which contains phenylephrine can cause life threatening cardiac arrhythmia.

just came up positive for cocaine on a hair follicle test. i have had this test before, am on a few medications & occasionally smoke marijuana (for hiv) but have not done cocaine. what could this be?

Cocaine on Hair Test: These hair tests are very accurate, usually.  I have never seen Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) do this. But, perhaps you could google that. It definitely is not the marijuana.  The most common HIV meds also would not do this. 

I googled this and there is some discussion about dental anesthesia, the common antibiotic amoxicillin.  

Request a urine test which will be negative and then ask for explanation.

if you go to see a physician because your blood pressure medication isn't keep your bp low anymore and all you get is repeatedly asked is if you do cocaine, how should you handle that? a volunteer for blood work was offered but doc ignored request.

That is why doctors and patients are free to choose one another and free to UNchoose one another. We live in a free society. If this particular doctor-patient pair is a good match, then just answer nicely the repeated questions. No worries, but do get to the bottom of the BP issue.

Don't: I'm assuming you have a history of opioid dependence, since you're taking suboxone. The answer to your question is, please don't use cocaine.  At the very least, it will decrease your impulse control and make you more likely to relapse on opioids.  Please share this with your clinician so you can get more help for substance use.

Some other things : There are some things that can cause a false positive urine drug test for certain substances. For example zoloft (sertraline) can cause a false positive Cocaine in urine. Check with your physician to see if there are any medications you are on that can do this.

Should: Cocaine and its metabolites are likely to be out of your system in 5 days. Do yourself a favor and never to drugs again.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.
