Blackheads : Wash face w gentle cleanser 2x/day ; use oil free products. No oily hair or heavy foundations. Exfoliate occasionally. Try not to pop pimples. Avoid touching face (cradling chin in hands). Remove makeup before bed. Shower after strenuous exercise. Consider otc products (salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide). If &gt; mild acne see dermatology (discuss meds, comedone extractor, pore strips, etc.).

Irritated: You clearly irritated the skin with the trauma of popping the comedome.  It may become infected and some topical neosporin may help.  If it worsens you may need antibiotics.

Get it evaluated: It is difficult to answer without being able to see the rash. Have it evaluated by a dermatologist if possible.

1.5 cm blackhead?: May be u meant 1.5 mm. Regardless, if your nose remains reddish brown for more than 12-24 hours, or gets worse with pain or swelling, you should see a doctorfor possible infection and need for antibiotics. Put OTC polysporin (bacitracin and polymyxin) on it and take some Ibuprofen by mouth. Good luck:)

Acne: It is important to treat your acne so that you don't get permanent scarring.  Some patients wait too long before seeing their dermatologist to have their acne treated. Normally topical medicines and internal antibiotics are used to keep acne under control.  You can start with an over the counter benzoyl peroxide wash while you are waiting for your appointment with your dermatologist.

Black bumps: Any skin lesions that are new, or are symptomatic, or that your body brings to your attention should be checked by your dermatologist or gynecologist or family doctor.  They will want to know how've long have the spots been present, has there been any trauma (blood blister), and are they changing to help in their evaluation.

Acne: Small blackheads are called closed comedones.  These are blocked pores which have become infected or blocked with hardened (oxidized) oil.  Blackheads will increase in areas with increased friction or sweating, and during changes in hormone levels.

WARM WET COMPRESSES FOR ABOUT 3 or 4 MINUTES SEVERAL TIMES A DAY WILL RELIEVE THE SWELLING AND THE PAIN.
