black spots: The period is often strange when bc pills are first stopped.  It may take a few months to become normal again.  This is not uncommon so try not to worry.

Anovulatory bleed?: When your period doesn't come regularly, it may mean that you did not ovulate (produce an egg) and that will make your period less predictable. This can happen occasionally and be perfectly normal so if not pattern develops, i think you are ok.

Pregnancy can also present as abnormal bleeding pattern, so you may want to re check a preg test in a few weeks to make sure.

It is possible: But u should see your gyn asap or a gyn as u need an exam, blood work to r/o preg and other hormones and to check your hb level, and a pelvic ultrasound to check the uterus and ovaries, and you may possibly need an in office hysteroscopy to look at the endometrium and an endometrial biopsy and once your doc knows what the cause is then there are different treatment options.

To ER: If you have shortness of breath and severe abdominal pain please go to an ER now. Don't drive.  If you are short of breath or pain is severe now call 911.

Postcoital bleed: Can be for a variety of reasons from physiological due to trauma or ectropion or could represent other pelvic issues (infection etc).  Difficult to give specifics without an examination.

More than likely: It is very likely that bleeding you are having is your period.  Both the length of the a woman's menstrual cycle and the character and amount of bleeding during menses vary now and then in most women, for a variety of reasons or for no apparent reason.  If you are concerned about the possibility of pregnancy you should do a pregnancy test, and should use reliable birth control.

Take test: The only way to be sure about pregnancy is to take a pregnancy test if you're late for your period.  If you're late test 7-10 days out.

Unusual: Unless it is due to retention of the last period (highly unlikely) or due to bleeding from some other cause.
