It depends.: The test could be read wrong. You could be very early pregnant and the urine today may be too dilute and below the thresh hold of the test. I recommend repeating the test with a first void specimen in the morning or simply do a blood test (serum quantitative beta HCG).

Pregnancy: I think a clinic visit would be more expensive than buying a pregnancy kit, the pregnancy kits are very cheap and accurate, also Planned Parenthood clinic could be another option.

Blood more sensitive: The blood pregnancy test that drs order are more sensitive and pick up lower levels than do home tests.

No: By then it should have been positive if you were pregnant but if in doubt you can repeat the test this weekend just to reassure yourself. If you don't want to be pregnant, you need to ask about starting a reliable method of contraception while you are at the clinic.

With out more: specifics it is hard to explain but one explanation would be  a twin pregnancy with loss of only one of the babies.  this is more common than you would think.

Yes it has been: 4 weeks therefore it is accurate.  However, to be safe they recommend at least 2 separate pregnancy tests, at least 2 weeks apart.

Yes, but: It's unusual unless the pregnancy test was very early. Usually the tests are timed to be very reliable. You can discuss whether a repeat is worthwhile with your doctor/clinic.
