Constipation: Before resorting to medicine try modifing your diet. Increase the intake of fruit snd vegetables, cut down on milk and milk profucts. Eat high fibered cereals and cut down on rice and other constipsting food.

2 - 3 days: It could take 2 - 3 days. You should have been given instructions as how to take it.

Not  necessarily: If you ate green jello or green liquids during the clear liquid prep it would come out green. Also bile from your liver will give a green tinge to output. As long as there is no sediment or solid stool you should be good to go for your colonoscopy.

Sitz Bath/Tub Bath: Stop using wipes as these are not working.I sugget you either use a sitz bath with warm water after moving your bowels or just sit in a bath tub with warm water
If still have same problem consult your Doctor
Sitz bath is avauilable from any medical supply store

Stool withholding: Associated with chronic constipation ; encopresis ( soiling ) is a both a medical ; a behavioral disorder treated by a team, often a pediatric gastroenterologist, child psychologist ; developmental/behavioral pediatrician. After a clean-out he needs a bulk laxative daily for at least 6 months to insure soft stools, bowel-re-training ; therapy for anxiety or self-esteem issues that often co-occur.

Annoying: This must be very annoying. Have your doc check it out and discuss sigmoidoscopy also. This may tell more about your symptoms.

Old food: 4 days of a clear liquid diet results in no residual non absorbable products in small intestine.  When this liquid material is partially absorbed in the 12 or more feet of colon which contains suface colonocyte cells and bacterial, it comes out as you describe as small thin and mushy.  Has nothing to do with  a resolved diverticular problem.

NOT: Your bowells should be on there own schedule. If you have to use a "stimulant" regularly, you may be self perpetuating a problem. See your doc. There are simple treatments that they can guide you thru.

Clear yellow: Your bowel movements will be liquid and usually a light yellow or greenish color. After using the toilet, if you were to drop a penny into the water you could see it through the diarrhea.
