Depends: All ulcers bleed some. Many times its minimal and doesn't cause any significant symptoms. If u wr vomiting blood or passing dark tarry stool then yes that ulcer likely bled and stopped.

: Generally a syphilitics' ulcer i clean and well demarcated and heals in a few days. But variations can occur depending on situations. If there is no syphilitic lesion then chances of transmission are near 0

coffee makes me want to pass stool almost immediately, i say about 15 mins after i drink it? is this normal? maybe have crohns based on colonoscopy i had last year(ulcer. term illeum:ascending colon) capsule endoscopy said i was clean recently. idea?

: What you are experiencing is not an uncommon reaction to coffee and does not indicate any disease. If you look at the positive side, a cup in the morning will facilitate a bowel movement and get you going for the day.
Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

No: No. Factors which determine if you will lose your leg are, 1) how good / bad the circulation is, or 2) whether you have a deep wound infection which will not clear with just antibiotics alone. Showering and keeping wounds clean does help prevent infections.

If : If your ulcer is caused by a bacteria called h. Pylori then you will need an extended course of multiple antibiotics to erradicate the bacteria. You will also need a medication called omeprazole, this will help decrease the acid in your stomach so further damage is not done. Your doctor will be able to do a blood test in order to check for this bacteria. In addition you may need a test done by a gastroenterologist called an endoscopy in order to assess your entire upper GI tract.

I would be...: Aphthous stomatitis involving common canker sores can occur in up to 15% of americans, &amp; may involve some bacteria like staph epidermidis. However, similar-appearing aphthous ulcers can be seen with herpes, crohn's disease, &amp; other systemic disorders (Behcet's). But if you have multiple aphthous ulcers or frequently recurring ones, please have the lesions (&amp; possible underlying cause) checked out.

i have burning backpain especiaaly when i eat hot or spicy food. the pain started from the stomach then it is now based on my back. could it be ulcers?

Yes: It sound as if you are experiencing gastric irritation. This may be do to peptic ulcer disease or  to gastroesophogeal reflux disease. Often peptic ulcer disease will result in pain of the mid-portion area of the back area.  There is no associated radiation of that pain into the legs.

Many: There are many viral, fungal, or bacterial infections that can cause ulcer-like lesions, as well as allergic reactions.  For definitive diagnosis and treatment plan you must be physically examined , including an extensive health history.  Please see your Dentist.

: Colonoscopy is still the gold standard for diagnosis of Crohn's disease and also permits obtaining tissue for diagnosis. Perhaps the inflammation in the terminal ileum  had significantly improved when the  capsule endoscopy was performed. Was a fecal calprotectin level done at the time of capsule endoscopy?  You may wish to consult a gastroenterologist at a university hospital.

Information: Ulcers respond to PPI like omeprazole OTC, may need treatment w antibiotics for H. pylori bacteria. Foods: Choose fruit, vegetables, fiber. Avoid alcohol, NSAIDS,&amp;anything you find that upsets your stomach - this varies person to person; sadly, no definite list to provide.Re: Meth - well done! Takes hard work. Withdrawal symptoms CAN last 3 weeks - you are almost there, don't get discouraged.
