Yes: Reishi mushrooms are very safe and non-toxic. Like most medicinal agents people have not done formal studies on humans to see if it is safe in pregnancy, but it is generally considered to be safe in pregnancy; there is no more reason to avoid reishi mushrooms if pregnant than portobella or shiitake mushrooms.

Not sure it works: Reishi Mushroom Powder is abundant in enzymes, polysaccharides, and proteins, including beta-D-glucans, which give the immune system a  boost to help ward off foreign invaders. The chemical components in Reishi enhance the production of T-cells, helper T-cells, and natural killer cells, which provide defense for the body. Whether this can help is suppressing tumor growth is speculative.

In general, homeopathic treatment has been known to help seizures -- but remedies are prescribed for the individual experiencing symptoms, not pathologic diagnosis alone.

I know of no evidence it can damage brains in humans; many eat peppers without obvious signs of brain damage but capsaicin might cause mild brain damage in some:
