See allergist: If Claritin and Flonase (assuming that you use it properly) failed, it is time for you to consult an allergist.  In the meanwhile, consider a HEPA air filter for your bedroom to be used as your sanctuary.

i take claritin and flonase daily for allergies. it doesn't last into the night however. i'm up coughing, sinus drainage and stuffiness. can i take a 2nd dose of claritin or zyrtec at night? can i take a 2nd dose of flonase at night?

: People respond to meds differently &amp; if the usual dose is not effective for the med I would not double up. Fexofenadine (Allegra) is another non-drowsy antihistamine that may work better for you than Claritin. Zyrtec can make you drowsy. Flonase gets a slow response in general. Its a good med but I wouldn't double use for acute symptoms.

Flonase: Flonase can cause nasal bleeding and sensitivity along with allergies.

Depends: ARe you sure the chronic cough is due to post nasal drip? It could be caused by asthma or reflux. Also you may not be using the Flonase properly, make sure it is pointed outward toward ear and use consistently on a daily basis. Claritin might not be strong enough antihistamine. Have child checked by pediatrician or allergist.

Yes, but: Only take either, the theraflu or the nyquil, not both, and if you do, please drop the evening/night dose of the claritin (loratadine) d, till you see your doctor, read the labels carefully, might cause sedation, so don't drive or operate machinery, good luck

Unnecessary.: Azelastine is an antihistamine, just like Loratidine. So I don't think you'd need the both.  The two nasal sprays should be sufficient to control your symptoms.
