my mother has covid and was prescribed clarithromycin an antibiotic  and dextromethorphan which is a cough suppressant and paracetamol... is this good? i mean i'm no doctor but these suppress fever and viral release through cough should she use?

Observe: Watch for signs of respiratory distress, worsening cough and uncontrolled fever. The combination of medications is recommended, but the Tylenol is only for fever of T 101 of higher. Avoid NSAIDs, encourage fluids and rest.

Taking more than the recommended dose, taking doses too close together, and/or taking paracetamol for more than a few days... All could be too much. Short term no: On a one time or very short term basis this should not cause any problems it is recommended that one not use more than 3000mg Acetaminophen in any given day certainly not a
on a routine basis this could lead to liver or kidney damage.

Overdose leads to rapid liver failure and death.
I dont suggest doing it.
