They slowly grow over time, leading to a reddish scaly ring with a clearing of the center. They can be treated with over the counter antifungal creams. Discuss it with your doctor to see what they think it may be.

See a real Dr: Most, not just a few, MOST diagnoses of "cellulitis" are not correct. Among the worst offenders are the urgent care people. Since you left out the details there is no other possible advice except to see another Dr, preferably a dermatologist.

Breast exam!!: If you have a breast lump and lumps in the armpit, then you absolutely need to go in to your doctor and get a breast exam and you also need breast imaging!

Your armpit rash is probably not yeast, which occurs mainly under the breast creases, abdominal creases, or genital area, but by any one of a dozen common skin fungus. It is most likely to be a fungal infection. It should respond to the same cream as used for yeast, e.g., otc Clotrimazole cream 1% should do fine.
