3x's/d for 5-7d: If you have a draining ear, you can you Ciprodex 3 drops 3x's per day for 5-7 days.  If the drainage persists, see a physician.

Duplicate therapy: Both have the same mechanism of action.  Do not take together unless prescribed by your doctor.  In this case, i can't think of a reason to use both medications concurrently.

You can, but...: ...It may not be as effective beyond the expiration date. Best to get a new rx if needed and suggested by your physician.

Antibiotic: The Ciprodex is intended to deliver an antibiotic and steroid directly to an infected ear. It really is not meant to help an ear drain.

Medications: There is no reason you can't take both the Ibuprofen and the ear drop.  Feel, better.
