i had a uti about a month ago without symptoms that was klebsiella pneumonia. i took cipro for five days. my question is this all started with a rash i was treated with an anabiotic for the uti but i still have a pretty itchy rash on my trunk arms et?

: If the rash started before cipro was taken then something else caused the rash. A dermatologist is best to consult for diagnosis and treatment of this itchy rash. Could it be a reaction from another medication?   I assume you've tried antihistamines for relief.

took cipro for 5 days and started having severe dizziness.  doctor told me to stop taking it. i am still dizzy.  how long will cipro cause dizziness?

Vertigo: May or may not be the cause of vertigo. I do not know why you started the Cipro, but it could be if you were having upper respiratory symptoms that is what started it. Either way sounds like you have vertigo. Talk to your provider. You may need some meclizine. This you can get OTC. Dramanine worth a try too.

husband had burning urine for week, had 24 wbc in urine,took cipro for 5 days but suddenly nice sized kidney stone peed out, stopped cipro for reaction but 7 days later still getting some burning, no other pain, why?? is this a serious problem?help?

Kidney stone: He could have other stones that may be infected (and interfering with antibiotic treatment); or perhaps stones are the cause of the symptoms and WBC, not infection. He needs to be in a doctor's care, preferably a urologist. This forum can't help in this situation. Good luck.

i have been taking flagyl and cipro for 5 days for diverticulitis and have had loose stools for a few days.  is it safe to take imodium to help with loose stools?  i've also been taking probiotics?

: I would suggest that you just continue the probiotics, if the loose stools is not bad, well after you have stopped the antibiotics. If the loose stool is bad it may be better to be reevaluated rather than take Imodium.

i have a uti but have been on cipro (ciprofloxacin) for 5 days now. am i able to go in the hottub or will it worsen it?

Hot tub okay: Going into the hot tub will not affect UTI and you will not  pass it on to others.

im on vacation and i got swimmers ear, my ear has been hurting for three days now. my wife happens to have a dose of cipro 500mg for 5 days, one pill every 12 hours, will this kill an ear infection if i have one? i have no fever or discharge?

: Swimmers Ear is best treated with drops. Just ask the local pharmacist which drops to buy.

Prostatitis: True prostatitis usually takes longer than a week to clear up. The symptoms you describe are quite common for this condition.  Be sure to keep well hydrated, try soaking in a hot bath, and try anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen and your symptoms will eventually subside.

Evryone is different: try to be patient and follow your docs instructions.  Take it exactly as doc has prescribed for the full course.  You might start to notice an improvement in your symptoms within 2-3 days.

Epididymitis: symptoms may persist after you finish the medication but if it still present over the next 30 days I would see my physician  again and either get a refill of the prescription or a new prescription
