It May: Chromium picolinate is highly adsorbed so people like it. It seems to help with blood sugar regulation. Problem is that some research show it is cancer-causing. Either limit your intake or look for chromium polynicotinate which is safer.  If you are taking for blood sugar or weight control, don't forget that exercise is even more potent.

Use caution.: Chromium has been used safely in a small number of studies using doses of 200-1000 mcg daily for up to 2 years. Some people experience side effects such as skin irritation, headaches, dizziness, nausea, mood changes , impaired thinking, judgment, and coordination . They have been known to cause gastric irritation and ulcers. Chromium compounds are known carcinogens and should be used with caution

How fast you drink?: It isn't the cinnamon, it's how fast you drink the liter of hot water and how hot the water was. Either too hot or too fast can make you uncomfortable. You should be able to tell.

Very little: Stick with the metformin. The early studies suggesting a role for cinnamon and chromium have not panned out.

Cinnamon is safe: And can be used to help the conditions you mention plus help balance blood sugar.  You can get cinnamon capsules in the health food store.  Make sure you talk w/your doc, especially if diabetic because the cinnamon can change the dose of medicine you need.  Peace and good health.

No there is no evide: No there is no evidence that it does that.It may lower blood pressure if one has high blood pressure according to some studies but no dizziness.

Hard to know: While you need small amounts of chromium in your diet, its usually in your prenatal vitamin in sufficient amounts.  Cinnamon bark in high doses has been associated with miscarriage, so if beyond 12 weeks you are probably fine.  Chromium at the doses you may be taking are again not recommended it lowers blood sugar and inhibits growth of body fat (your baby dose need some of this).
