?question?other RX: If you are looking for other rx suggestions there are several available, the 1/day meds like allegra(fexophenadine) or claritin(loritadine) work fine in some & are available otc. You may want to do an environmental audit: any dust/smoke/perfume
/fume products will aggrivate & feel identical to allergic triggers in some.With these issues avoidance is the key to improvement.

: It is a decades old popular antihistamine. I can find vendors for it on eBay and other online sources but some say it is out of stock due to high demand. Its use and value has been supplanted by other readily available antihistamines with fewer side effects.

my son 11 months 22lb has hayfever found allergy relief for 1 year old it's chlorphenamine maleate 2mg/5ml dosage 2.5ml can he take this amount?

Infant care: Infant is too young for this medication  general use.  Talk to your pediatrition for alternative means of treatment -  look into what may be causing the. " allergy" symptoms . Common household exposures. , dust , animal dander, dust mites , mold  and food groups  can be the culprit to these  " allergy" symptoms especiall if infants symptoms are chronic or recurring. Wish you well.

currently taking claritin and benadryl (diphenhydramine) for allergies. would it be safe to instead take clairtin and chlorpheniramine? should be temporary.

If necessary: All the medications mentioned are antihistamines.  Claritin (loratadine) is a new generation one and Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and chlorpheniramine are first generation ones.  While short term use likely has no serious side effects, there should be a treatment that doesn't require both.  Also, the reason for the symptoms should be addressed in an effort to prevent symptoms.

: They are both members of the sedating antihistamine family. The diphenhydramine has just been available over the counter for much longer. Individual response to any of these drugs can vary.
