i got some curable std (chlamydia etc) tests on my own and are awaiting results. do i have to get my results? what if one doesn't want the results at this time?

my partner and i would rather go together in about a week.

Are you serious???: You have been tested but don&#x27;t want the results because it will interfere with upcoming sexual plans? What about a lifetime of remorse (for her, maybe you) if chlamydia or gonorrhea makes her infertile? Now tested, you are ethically obligated to get the results and tell your partner. If you have symptoms (e.g. discharge) you must tell her now, before the results. Don&#x27;t screw around with this.

Tested how?: Was the test culture or DNA test. DNA test is more reliable. If you are concerned about STD, you should discuss with your doctor about getting tested for other STDs also. 
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

hello, i had sex 90 days ago. i had done tested after 6 weeks for hiv, syphilis, gonnorhea and chlamydia is negative. now i can see rashes on my hand, will it be any std ?? should i need to test one more time ??

ok so i tested positive for chlamydia in. my throat. they are acting like this the sti one. its only in throat not genitals. i took antibiotics 7 days tested 6 weeks later still have it? would the swab test show chlamydia pneumoniae? or is it sti?

: The standard test detects only sexually transmitted Chlamydia trachomatis, not C. pneumoniae. This is a peculiar situation, since the immune system generally clears pharyngeal (oral) chlamydia within a couple of weeks. And 7 days doxycycline always cures it. Any chance you were reinfected by new oral sex on a partner since treatment? Or maybe a lab problem with their chlamydia tests. Good luck.

False negatives: False negatives are very common. Regardless of his test results he must be treated!

Culture: Chlamydia is diagnosed based on cultures or by special means of chlamydial genetic material detection from a sample taken at the cervix and vagina (or penis for a guy).

: The immune system clears almost all chlamydial infections, usually within a year. Persistent chlamydia for more than 4 years has never been found.

False positives : You would not get a false positive since Zithromax is used to treat chlamydia infection

Chlamydia: Nope. The real common problem is false negatives. It is hard to get a positive when someone has the infection deeper than can be reached by the swab!.
