Give it 7 days: Per cdc sexually transmitted disease treatment guidelines :  “persons treated for chlamydia should be instructed to abstain from sexual intercourse for 7 days after single-dose therapy or until completion of a 7-day regimen. http://www.cdc.gov/std/treatment/2010/chlamydial-infections.htm.

Retreat: If you threw up immediately after taking the medication, you will need to be re treated. Otherwise you may be fine. No intercourse for 7 days. Rescreen for chlamydia infection in 3-4 months with your doctor. Indications to retest after antibiotic completion: persistent symptoms or pregnancy.

Seven days: The recommended treatment is twice daily for seven days.  If you only have 10 pills, take one tablet twice a day until gone.  You should also be checked for gonorrhea, HIV and syphilis, if you haven't been tested already, and you should notify anyone that you've had unprotected sex with that they should get tested also.

went to the emergency room and got a shot and pills for chlamydia and gonorhea sunday. today is now thursday me and my partner had sex and the condom broke will the single dose of medication still work for me ? and will my partner be infected?

: Obviously you should have waited to have sex until you were assured you were clear of all infection. Your medication should still be effective, but you could have transmitted infection. Have your partner get checked.

Chlamydia: The 1000 mg dose is not exactly rocket science and there is a good possibility that you have taken enough of the prescribed dose.  I believe that you could be tested in a week to determine whether you're clear of the infection.

Possibly: The standard recommended treatment for chlamydia using Azithromycin would be a single dose (not divided) of 1, 000mg. Retesting for eradication is not usually done unless there are persistent or recurrent symptoms or deviation from recommended treatment.
