Any discrepancy in their schoolwork & perceived abilities can be evaluated using individual performance tests. The weschler intelligence scale for children and various achievement tests can be administered if needed.

Enough to need work: Speech &amp; language issues along with other developmental delays can be minimized when evaluated early. Issues like hearing loss can be assisted and therapy when needed can improve a kids chance of reaching their potential. The old "they'll talk when their ready" approach is a form of neglect.

don't worry. Every child will have a different eruption pattern. He may just be a late bloomer when it comes to this category.

And for the record, a late eruption pattern has nothing to do with his intelligence :-)

as long as he is healthy, everything should be just fine. Think of it this way.. Nothing you can do to make them erupt more quickly.

They should be sleeping all night and napping at least twice daily.
