: Your post cites measurements that show relative faster head circumference increase than usual, but lacks important data. What is the other parameters- weight &amp; length, boy or girl? If all parameters have increased in unison it is less an issue. I would hope this is being followed by his doc, who can order a simple ultrasound through the soft spot if it is a concern.

A mirror placed nearby may give baby something special to watch for long periods. At this age, the noise of a rattle may be entertaining but baby cannot grasp and control it.
