Gabapentin and....: A medicine called Gabapentin (neurontin) can sometimes help, though it does not work for everyone, and it has its own side effect profile. Physical therapy can also be beneficial. The child's oncologist should be told of the numbness, since occasionally the dose of vincristine may need to be adjusted if the side effect is very severe.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor. There is no need to put up with pain as the cause may be treatable.

Pinched nerve: Back and pelvic pain sometimes radiating into buttock and upper legs is common during pregnancy but true sciatica caused by disk herniation is rare (affects 1% pregnant women).   Right arm pain and numbness can come from your neck or arm.  Right leg pain and numbness usually comes from the low back. If you have true sciatica you may have pinched nerve from ruptured disk and should see your doctor.

after several wks of pain in l abdomen and high in vagina, i had a pudendal nerve block today. it made me numb between the legs, but still pain. my coccyx is a bit loose after it broke 25years ago when my child was born. still sensitive. what can it?

Miscellaneous: Is this intermittent?  Maybe crossing your legs, or being on your feet for a while, or prolongation on a toilet seat, results in transient reversible numbness?  If overweight or wearing tight belts, can compress a nerve on the thigh.  Foot numbness maybe due to nerve pinching at the ankle.  If persistent, and/or progressive, see your physician.

Disconcerting: This is not to be taken lightly, and needs to be evaluated asap.  You are describing a sign of spinal cord dysfnctn, which could be due to a host of disorders.  Consider, a possible spinal cord avm, a tumor, multiple sclerosis, vasculitiis, even vitamin overdose toxicity (b-6).  Get MRI images of thoracic spinal cord, see a neurologist or neurosurgeon.
