No: Chest tightness is not caused by sleeping too much. Its causes are bronchial asthma, angina, musculoskeletal pain etc. If it persists need medical evaluation.

Call your doctor: Call the doctor who prescribed you these medicines and tell him/her what's happening with you.  You may need to be seen for an in-person exam.

dry intermittent cough for 3 weeks with throat and chest tightness. i do not smoke. not an issue when working out or sleeping. starts a couple hours after waking up. can pnd cause all of this?

Cough: Pnd can definitely be the culprit if you have it. Allergy with PND or without can do it as well. Acid reflux is another common cause. To remove or lessen pnd, I use neti pot, humidifier in the room through the night if the environment you live in is dry. Acid reflux - prop the head of the bed, avoid overeating, tight belts, supine positions after meals, lose weight. Try Omeprazole or prevacid (lansoprazole).

while sleeping i suffer from chest tightness mainly on the right chest and right elbow pain.i experience right knee pain too..what could be the cause?

Hard to say: Pains at night can be a normal result of activities during the day, and even arthritis which is commonly worse at night. Chest tightness is a concerning symptom, especially for a man in his mid 40s. It can suggest a serious problem like heart disease, or more commonly, reflux, or something like asthma. You have several things that may or may not relate. As you are suffering, best to get good exam.

i have cough-variant asthma and a cold, experiencing worsening nighttime cough, chest tightness/pain, and shortness of breath with difficulty sleeping. can i still go to my orangetheory fitness classes (with albuterol)? when is it safe to workout?

See your Dr first: Given all your symptoms, I cannot recommend going to your fitness class even if you have albuterol.  If you are having chest tightness/pain and shortness of breath with difficulty sleeping you should see your Dr in order to step up your asthma treatment and reassess your cold. Colds may progress to bronchitis and sometimes pneumonia can start out like a cold.  This should be evaluated by your Dr.

Troubling symptoms: Without knowing your physical and emotional history or your family's medical history anything would be a guess.  However, if you have been suffering two years, you have my sympathy.  Consult your primary care physician.  If s/he cannot help ask for a referral.  Your problem can be in multiple body systems and will require examination and tests to determine the cause(s).

im feeling a slight tight chestedness beneath my lower left rib, & at night whilst falling asleep, it can sometimes feel a bit painful. im not thinking anxious thoughts, but could this be a physiological response to having a child or lockdown?

Not necessarily:  Anxiety can lead to chest tightness but it is usually not to such a specific location. Muscle tightness may be felt in neck and head.

It is unlikely: but if you had one most of the time you will be having some symptoms such as pain, swelling, color change also shortness of breath , chest pain if lungs are involved.

i am 55, female. when i lie down on my right side at night, i feel a pulsing to my neck. it doesnt seem to match with my pulse but feels more like the muscle? chronic tight neck. 
no shortness of breath, or pain. disappears after falling asleep.

Pulsing at night: Not sure if you mean feel or hear a pulse?  If you have been a smoker or had high cholesterol or BP then ask your doctor to listen to your neck for a bruit in one of the blood vessels in your right neck area caused by atherosclerosis.  Find out if anyone in your family had every had fibromuscular dysplasia of any arteries.  Discuss with your team.

last night i woke up with a severe pain in my upper right side of my back, tight chest, sharp pain in chest when inhaling. i had to sit up to relieve the pain. finally fell asleep by lying on my left side with head up. i am currently on coveram 5/10.

If chest pain or sho: Shortness of breath persists you need to see your physician immediately.
