Anxiety can produce: these symptoms as well. If the recent Stress was Okay, like you stated, then I would not worry about it. Sometimes we all have these short-lived 'feelings' or sensations which pass off. I am sure everyone has had these at some time or the other in their lives.

Yes: Gastritis can cause abdominal pain as well as chest pain.

EGD: Upper endoscopy is still the easiest way to directly evaluate the esophagus stomach and duodenum.  A GI series only shows the outline of the organs on x-ray.   Pill cams show the esophagus but are not very accurate in the stomach.
Chest pain may be secondary to esophageal irritation from acid reflux or it may be secondary to esophageal spasm.

Anything: Most people think their whole abdomen is their stomach, but the stomach is in the upper middle or upper left of the abdomen.  If your lower abdomen hurts, that could be your skin, muscles, bladder, uterus, or intestines. If the upper part of your abdomen hurts, it could be acid reflux, pancreatitis, or other problems. See a doctor for an assessment.

Other stuff? C ur MD: See your surgeon, and your regular doc.  If you were taking pain meds, or nsaids like ibuprofen, etc. May have inflammation of stomach, or ulcer. Adhesions from surgery not likely to cause this.  
Gb done laparoscopically, or open surgery)? May have retained stones.  May have something unrelated, including cardiac issues. Same pain as before surgery? Maybe gb not the cause.  Need to see md asap.
