Prob not cardiac: Unlikely cardiac given your age. Depends on your level of activity etc. Need more information. Breast cancer and pain typically do not go together if you are worried about that.  This should be something simple a practitioner can help you with instantly.

More info: need to know how long, is it better or worse with food/activity/other, are there other associated symptoms, does pain radiate up/down/left/right/through the middle. There are some dangerous causes so if symptoms worsen change or fail to improve you should seek medical attention.

Be concerned: Chest pain can be a symptom of heart disease but may be may other things such as esophageal spasms, great vessel disease, respiratory disorders (asthma, COPD, bronchitis, infections), and muscle problems to name a few.  It really depends on the clinical situation and other symptoms you may be having.  If you are currently having the symptoms you are describing you should see a doctor pronto!

Chest pain: Best course of action is go see your doctor and get checked out. It may be musculoskeletal but could also be a lot of other things.

Possible: Costochondritis usually heart the ribs towards the sternum but sometime can cause pain towards the sides too. It usually hearts with movement and taking deep breaths. Please see a doctor.

Non steroidals: Take a NSAID like med e.g Aleve (naproxen) or ibuprofen as long u have no contraindications or allergies. Make sure to take this with food
