It’s possible!: 
"Walking pneumonia" is a non-medical term which is used for a mild case of pneumonia. This is called atypical pneumonia &amp; is caused by bacteria or viruses; often a common bacterium known as  Mycoplasma pneumonia. Walking pneumonia can still make you feel horrible , with cough, fever, chest pain, mild chills, &amp; headache. I wish you well with your health!

Deep breath? : Chest pain with a deep breath or cough, improved lying down is pretty classic pleurisy. Pleurisy can be due to pneumonia or viral illness. There are also more serious causes. If you're short of breath, you should see your doctor.

COVID 19: Please stop smoking cigarettes. If sounds like you still have many, significant symptoms.  You are one of the people who clearly needs post-COVID 19 infection medical follow up. Get urgent care for difficulty breathing, blue lips or face, persistent significant chest pain/ pressure or new onset confusion.

Pneumonia: After pneumonia with pleural effusion you might have pleural adhesions and perhaps some residual lung tissue damage. It is best to discuss this question with the physicians who know you and your condition to get the most informed answer to your question.

Follow closely. : If it is within 24 hours I would not worry. It should clear on its own. A chest x-ray this early would not help. Eventually a chest CT may be needed if you do not improve. Encourage fluids and feel free to cough as you need. Yes, it could cause an infection/pneumonia but this is unlikely. There is no medical treatment needed at this time. Follow this closely.
