Not really: Acne scars are usually too deep for chemical peels to have much effect.  They are better treated with fraxel lasers or dermabrasion.  For isolated scars, surgical revision or fillers may be appropriate.

Best or safest: The best would be the deep peels and they should only be performed by a trained physician that would be the phenol peel. It would help acne scars not wipe them out but will have downtime
The safer method would be a series of medium peels they have limited downtime and are abet safer these would be the jesner plus tca 35% or even the less potent Vi peel for acne. You will need several

Scars aren't removed: by peels. You can do them until the cows come home, and not see much difference other than exfoliation. So that's an expensive alternative that has been marketed to you. Cosmetic lasers that rebuild collagen provide longer lasting results, as scarring is occurring from the damaged collagen fibers that have created crater-like effects from contraction. Treat the cause, not the hype.

In some degree: Chemical peel can reduce the appearance of pits to some degree.  For deeper pits a minor surgical intervention can be needed to with injection of fat or fillers under the pits.

Sure: It i a great idea . There are all grades of peels. As far as removal it depends on the type and severity of your scars. Ice pick scars are the hardest to deal with and the least helped by peels.

Chemical  peel acne: Generally, chemical peels treat active acne or acne prone skin. Salicylic acid peels are very effective. While the peels may help pigmentation and redness, they are often not very helpful for deep scars. Dermabrasion remains the gold standard.

Infection: Check with your private dermatologist.This sound like recurrence of small glutral abscesses leaving hard painful scars- or in fact, ongoing abscess formation. Must be visualized for diagnosis.

Join the gym: I doubt the chemical peel will end up doing you any good. I'm sorry you got scars and I trust your acne is now under control instead of being neglected. If you want the acne scars removed, a plastic surgeon or dermatologist can offer microsurgery, filler, or laser work. A well-muscled, trim body completely overrides scars, and in fact you'll end up looking "extra tough." Great move; do it.

Laser is better: Laser resurfacing is better to improve acne scarring. I recommend the fraxel laser. Four treatments are usually required, but the results will be significantly better that with chemical peeling. The fraxel works well for acne scarring, as well as fine lines and wrinkles and photoaging. Fraxel can be used on most skin types, and all over the face and body. The fraxel laser is fda approved.
