Think flesh/muscles!: Think flesh/tissue and not bone/ligament/disc/nerves with chronic pain! begin a self-care with a wellness program of vits, magnesium glycinate, sleep hygiene, exercise, self massage, chiropractor, yoga, heat, epsom tub soaking, stretching all are needed.  In my practice I use acupuncture and myofascial tissue release with trigger points w lidocaine.

Normal variation: Hyperpigmentation (dark color) of the tongue and oral mucosa is commonly seen in dark-skinned individuals. Less common causes of this include certain medications, addison's disease, or Niacin deficiency.

Flushed face: Some people have what is called flushing syndrome. The small vessels in the cheek dilate readily due to emotional responses, exercise, and temperature changes. Another possibility is rosacea, which is a more adult form of acne which can present in milder cases as hyperemia or  redness.  There can be other diseases or medication reactions to consider in some cases. See a doctor to evaluate.

Naturally?: Unfortunately - there is no way to specifically gain weight to one area of the body. In general - if you gain weight - some of that may go to cheeks. A cosmetic surgeon would have a number of options to offer you.

No it does not.: You can not selectively remove weight from one part of the body.

Bad habit: You are probably a bruxer, which means you are grinding your teeth.  Look for a white line on the inside of your cheek where your teeth come together, possibly also a scalloped shape on the outside edge of your tongue.  Both indicate that you are subconsciously clenching or ginding your teeth.  See your dentist, you probably need a bruxing appliance.
