the cheek near my last tooth on the bottom right is like hard and a bit raised, it used to be worse and painful but its getting much better. is this an infection or what could it be?

: I'd consider this an irritation/inflammation rather than an infection. Does that tooth rub up against your cheek or cause you to occasionally bite the cheek? Since it's improving, I'd sit tight, but if it doesn't completely resolve ask your dentist,MD or an oral surgeon to check you.

today i bite my inner cheek it bled a little and i touched the site with my finger. few hrs before this happened i was at grocery store shopping so the same finger must have touched many things. should i worry about any infections mainly hiv and hep?

No.  HIV and hepatis: It would be very unusual to cause HIV and hepatitis from touching the groceries.  HIV and hepatitis virus is not viable with any air exposure.  Your physician can confirm your concerns with a thorough exam,

Yes: If it is a sebaceous cyst, swimming will not affect it adversely.  Do not try to pop it.

Common: Swelling in the middle ear can be worsened by inflammation in the eustacian tube which connects to the back of the nasopharynx and typically drains away any middle ear fluid. Try doing saline nasal washes while tapping on the opposite nostril to slightly increase the pressure in the eustacian canal. This will allow the fluid to flush the canal and sooth the inflammation.

See below: Infant's fontanelle (soft spot) should be felt in sitting position.  If fontanelle still feels full or tense, seeking another opinion would be recommended.

Skin infection: Skin infections can be found in many areas, including the buttocks.  Boils, abscesses, infected hair follicles, carbuncles, pilonidal cysts, infected bug/spider bites, can all be possible causes of infections.

Papule: A papule or swollen raied area inside the cheek may represent a gland that has been pinched off or a duct that has been pinched off depending on where it is,  it may just be a simple closed duct or the beginning of an infection in the salivary or parotid gland.  Conservative management with salt water gargles unless you have fever, chills, sweats or pain or swelling of the cheek or a gland.

Chronic inflammation: You may have a nidus or source of chronic infection which may need an antibiotic to cure it. You should see a physician to get definitive treatment

YES: You will definitely spread the infection to surrounding tissues-bad idea!
