Yes.: Stress causes spasms of muscles of the back or of the neck and can cause tension headache. Depending on the muscles involved it can cause the neck and spinal muscles to tighten and compress the nerves and cause symptoms of nerve compression which is what you have.

To me this means try options such as physical therapy, relaxation exercises, yoga, or even hypnosis. You’re young and will live with this for a long time. You should incorporate your options into your lifestyle.
