Guaifenesin: Guaifenesin, the active ingredient in Robitussin or Mucinex, (guaifenesin)  can thin cervical mucus. It is used around ovulation in infertility patients on Clomid, which can prevent the normal thinning.

Regular periods: You can ovulate without having had a normal period beforehand, it's not possible to have  a normal period (at least naturally) without having ovulated beforehand. Make sense? If you get spontaneous periods, you are 99% certain to be ovulating.

Many possibilities: You need to review your results (or lack thereof) w/your treating physician who may need to adjust your medication regimen.

: "Duphaston" is a medication which simulates progesterone.  If ovulation has not occurred, consult a reproductive endocrinologist physician on a referral from your GYN physician, as ovulation stimulation may be required.

I'm skeptical: That your cervical mucus is a problem. What have you been told, or are you deciding this yourself? There are no good/reliable tests for cervical mucus, and it is rarely a problem - what are you worried about?

Technically no.: Technically no, you don't have fertile mucus. However, you tend to have more discharge during pregnancy. It's usually a milky white discharge with no odor or itching.
