Yes it is good: Yes Montelucast is used for allergies and cephalexin is a broad spectrum antibiotic used for Bacterial Infection of Sinuses and other respiratory tract as well

Yes: But 
1- many cases resolve without antimicrobials
2- other antimicrobials such as Amoxicillin / clavulanate may have better activity.

Yes: Cephalexin will cover some of the bacteria that might cause sinus infection.  It is freqently used for tonsillitis and skin infections. I don't generally use it for sinus infection.

: Most of the time you do not need antibiotic for sinusitis. If you truly have bacterial sinusitis, keflex may be effective with some bacteria, not all. Good luck.

Maybe too soon: Sinus infections usually require longer treatment times with antibiotics so it is not unusual for it to take longer before the antibiotic starts to take effect. See your doctor if you are experiencing worsening symptoms, or don't notice substantial improvement as you near the end of the course of antibiotics.

i have 10 days worth of cephalexin 500 mg left from my husbands skin infection.can i take this for a sinus infection?i am allergic to morphine

No: I applaud your efforts to save money / avoid waste and am glad that you asked first. While Cephalexin may work for some of the bacteria that cause sinus infections it is not the drug of choice so by taking it you would run the risk of side effects for naught.
Allergy to morphine is not a concern in this context.

i have had a sinus infection for months; my doctor had prescribed me amoxicillin and cephalexin, and both had helped but had not completely gotten rid of the infection. i'm now on doxycycline; should i take it? will it help?

: It may but it sounds like your sinuses may be blocked.  If doxycycline does not clear it up see an ENT doctor for further evaluation and studies of your sinus system - MRI or CT to see if you have clogged sinuses.

Sinus infection: Not sure about what you are asking, but here is my attempt.  Iv (intravenous) drip is not really used for sinus infection. Normal saline which is the most common IV solution is used to wash out the sinuses as squirts by yourself or in sinus surgery to clean out!

Yes: All infections are contagious.  After about 24 hrs of antibiotic treatment the infection should not be contagious.
