i check my cbc test & my white blood cell count was 11.0 is that high normal or high or low?

Leukocytosis: Your white count is slightly high. A high white count (leukocytosis) can be caused by many different things, most commonly an infection. Some people have high white cells due to a medication they are taking. Others are born with it. Others develop it because of dangerous conditions such as leukemia. Please consult with a hematologist to determine what form of leukocytosis you have.

Send us exact info: We need your CBC(Complete blood count) report. Then we can help you interpret it better. Is there any reason to suspect that you could have infection with the HIV? That is one cause of low lymphocyte counts especially if they persist on repeat check up,  once more.

Leukemia & High WBCs: An elevated white cell count can indicate an infection as well as leukemia. Other tests can be run to arrive at the correct diagnosis; i would follow up with your physician soon.

Not quite definite: Picture can occur after viral infection. Unless accompanied by other medical conditions is not diagnostic.

Not reliable: CBC is not a reliable test for HIV. Many viral infections can produce the same picture as may be seen in acute HIV. If you have any concerns, get tested and if negative,  repeat the test in 6 months.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

You're fine: Normal WBC. I trust lymphocyte and neutrophil counts were fine also. Take the prenisone for the poison ivy only if it's so bad you can't sleep otherwise. We're glad to help.

It can,,,: CBC stands for Complete Blood Count, which includes platelet, white blood cell count, hemoglobin, and hematocrit.  These last 2 values indicate the amount of blood in your body by concentration and percent of blood volume.  A more thorough report can also show the size range and number of red cells along with a differential of the white cells.
