Sciatica : You may have radiculopathy from an irritated nerve root bring impinged as it exits your spine to run down your leg to your foot. See MD for testing  at your age immediate imaging is indicated. No lifting heavier than the Sunday paper hot showers to your back physical therapy and spine surgery consult for possible transforaminal

Nerve: I suspect some nerve damage occurred during that fall. If so, nerve healing is often a prolonged process. It's worthwhile to have an up to date evaluation and examination by your physician or an orthopedic specialist. Alterations to your physical therapy program may be needed and possible referral to a neurologist may be recommended.

Snapping hip: The most likely cause is a muscle on the outside of your hip called the tensa fascia latae that extend more distally to form your illiotibial (it) band that "pops" rather than glides over a bony prominence in the upper part of your thigh bone (femur).  The pop/ clunk feels like your hip is dislocating. The illiopsoas (hip flexor) muscle on the front part of the hip can also produce a snap.

Depends on location: Pain in the "hip" can have many causes. The location and type of pain (sharp, achy, dull) as well as knowing what make it better or worse can help sort it out . In general , pain in the buttock comes form the lower back, pain on the side from the bursa or iliotibial tendon and pain in the groin and anterior thigh comes from the hip joint itself. This is a general guideline.

Hip pain: At your age there are many possible causes. Some are relatively benign and some are more serious. You should have a hip exam by a healthcare provider and hip x-rays. This will rule out the more serious hip problems. Various forms of bursitis are treated with physical therapy and medications like ibuprofen.

Need work up: How many weeks ago? What have you done so far? It may be mild injury i.e. mild muscle or ligament sprain. It can also be injury inside joint i.e. labrum tear. If you have persistent pain, you may need further work up i.e. xray or MRI. You may try stretching exercise.

im 17 f, having iliopsoas tendonitis in right hip 1.7yrs and recently developed sartorial tendonitis in both hips. what could have caused this?

Trauma: This most often occurs in  the setting of trauma with ligamentous deficiency of the pelvis.  Degeneration of the hip (birth related, steroid use related) is rare.  See a physiatrist who can help you with prolotherapy, and upgrading your strengthening program.  All cortisone injections affect your bones -- protect yourself with vitamin d therapy, at least  2000 u /day.  Good luck.
