Lipoma: Often times these are lipomas, which are simply benign masses of fatty tissue.  Very rarely do these cause any problems - in rare cases, there may be persistent surrounding inflammation which leads a patient to ask for removal of the lipoma.  As with any lesion, if there is significant increase in size, or significant pain, redness, discoloration, or any other concerning sign, do see a physician.

Bump on body: Any bumps on the body need to be evaluated by your doctor.  It MAY be a sebaceous cyst which can be easily removed but you need to know what you are dealing with.  Peace and good health.

Could be shingles: A rash along your bra line, especially if it is painful, could be shingles.  If it persists, you should seek medical consultation.

Skin lump causes: Lumps felt under the skin can have many causes from simple things like swelling and bruising from local trauma, benign cysts of oil glands, benign localized fatty tissue collections ( lipoma), infections ( boil or abscess), to more serious causes up to and including cancerous masses.
Any persistent, enlarging or painful lumps should be evaluated.

Pain: Sounds like muscular chest pain. It should gradually disappear on it's own.If it persists see your doctor

You need an exam: If it is a new finding along your rib, you need a plain xray to start with.

Always should be: Concern, most likely if it is located close to the center related to the rib cage it self, other than it could many things, the way to check it out with your doctor.

is bump in middle of rib cage on belly just a bone?

No: The usual cause of superficial lump is lypoma, bony growth or neuroma.  A lypoma is usually painless, freely mobile, and remains stable over time. Bone spur is hard, fixed and tender on palpation. Neuroma may or may not painful but usually fixed.  Just monitor for changes in size, superficial ulceration, changes in color and if any suspicious change talk to your PCP.
