Neither: good nor bad per se.  The atelectatic change may be simply incidental and of little or no significance.  There are a number of causes of ground glass opacity, and this could represent a significant finding, so best bet is to discuss the findings with your doc.

Depends: on size of lesions and risk factors such as smoking. However, first follow up scan is typically in 3 months. More scans will follow, usually every 12 months, to make sure no cancer present.

i have 9 mm ground glass opacity in rt upper lobe , 6mm part solid nodule in left lower lobe and 3 other nodules about 3mm . these were just found on lung ct . i am very worried as i smoked my whole life , have a twin sister with lung cancer ?

A pulmonary consultation with or without bronchoscopy or more advanced diagnostic procedures may help in arriving to a cause and then the methods of treating that.
