Sharp chest pain can be from rib or muscle in chest wall, an irritated surface nerve or from the lung or lining of the lung (the pleura). You can get chest pain from the esophagus, but less likely to be sharp and more likely in the center.

Blockage/discharge: If you have intense pain, that sinus might be blocked and depending on the type of anti-biotic and the course of treatment, the sinus infection might have not been fully treated. I suggest doing saline rinses (netti pot or ocean spray), warm compresses and decongestants like Mucinex (guaifenesin) d and if the pain persists, go see your doctor for evaluation.

Radicular pain in the groin results compression or irritation of a spinal nerve root in the upper lumbar spine (low pain).  This can result from inflammation surrounding the nerve root.  Nuprofen reduces inflammation
