Pain: The primary symptom from dequervain's is pain along the thumb side of the wrist. There can be swelling as well as a "creaking" sensation with thumb movements as well as simulated hammering motion of the hand/wrist.

May be tendon tear: Based on the history you provided you may  have sustained a tendon injury.  An examination by a foot and ankle specialist is in order with an MRI examination likely to be ordered. The anterior tibial tendon is a major dorsiflexor of the foot.  Without it functioning properly you would likely suffer a foot drop. There are other causes of foot drop and these should be ruled out.
