EMG/NCV: The test are combined as EMG and nerve conduction velocity. They often point to possibilities and may not always provide a final diagnosis. They provide insight into defects but not always the cause. Suggest see a neurologist.

Sprains: Sprains/strains is the most common muscle problem.  If you are looking specifically for a disease, then muscular dystrophy would be my top choice.  Depending on how you want to classify fibromyalgia, it could rank as the top disease.

Not specificly: Some kids shiver as a normal event. There is also a transitional process some call shudder attacks that are brief shiver like events that last seconds while a kid is apparently awake & not bothered by the activity.Although any child demonstrating these events in childhood may have problems, there is no specific link.

HUMAN OR ANIMAL?: Neospora is a protozoal parasite in dogs and cattle, and has not known, YET, to afflict humans.  I am unaware of any muscle disorder in homo sapiens or indeed any neuromuscular associated condition that has been described currently.

Not sure: I can't tell which but it can be due to low iron levels and it not this it responsed to Dopamine agonists like Requip (ropinirole) or sinemet implying a nervous system problem.  Some people do better with anticonvulsant meds like Neurontin or Klonopin which may have some muscle relaxant effects.  So it may have multiple causes.

Somatoform: disorder means any symptoms are possible! The "trick" is to be able to "separate" the symptoms form the emotional problem from symptoms due to disease!
