Sciatica: Need clarification in regards to your pain concerns. Is it the shoulder or your hips. Sciatica occurs in the hips. Pain from dislocation of the shoulder may linger but if for too long it needs to be re-evaluated. Consult your doctor if taking strong meds for over a week does not seem to resolve the pain.

what are the common side effect of taking methocarbamol 600 mg and gabapentin 300 mg together? can taking both together cause excessive hunger?

Excessive hunger: Hard to be sure but I recommend you take methocarbamol on day 1 and gabapentin on day 2. 
If thinks are OK as noted above, keep doing it that way.

R/O WITHDRAWAL: Narcotic withdrawl can occur in this setting. It is dependent on dose of meds and duration, Follow up with your doctor and potentially a pain specialist for treatment options.

Subjective: Could be part of ur anxiety. regular walking and fluid intake may help. massages. no drugs help.

All good, but...: Robaxin (methocarbamol) is probably best for muscle pain, in my opinion. None should upset your stomach, but I've had very good experience treating patients with muscle pain and tightness using Robaxin (methocarbamol). Flexeril and Diazepam tend to cause more drowsiness.

i have been to the dr recently for a potential pinched nerve/ muscle issue in my left hip, groin and into the knee area. the dr had me start gabapentin + methocarbamol, both cause me anxiety and panic attacks. any natural ideas to treat?

Alternative options: Your doctor did offer accepted treatments. Gabapentin needs to start low and build up,to,therapeutic levels over weeks e.g 100-200mg daily to 600mg 3 x daily.  NSAIDS like ibuprofen are good for your pain. Curcumin 2000mg daily can help the inflammation, stop red meat and corn products (inflammatory), and get an EMG of L leg to determine if this is a spine issue, and  benefit from different Rx.

Yes but.....: An ingredient in 282mep called Meprobamate acts as a muscle relaxant. This is essentially a similar mechanism of action as robaxin (methocarbamol). I do not advise this combination.

Muscle relaxer: Robaxin (methocarbamol) is a muscle relaxer, or a prescription medication which can be used to treat painful or uncomfortable muscle relaxers. How much is safe is highly variable and depends on your age, size, tolerance to medications, the other medications you are taking and how the medicine affects you individually. Basically, safe dosaging should be discussed with your prescribing physician.
