Yes, but...: Colon cancer can very rarely cause obstruction of the duct draining the gall bladder(cystic duct)  or liver(common bile duct) by growing directly into these structures and causing an obstruction.  This can lead to cholecystitis just like that caused when the obstruction is caused by a gall stone.  It is a more serious situation but i believe that I have seen it only once in my 36 year career!

It can: If the cancer perforates the wall of the colon allowing feces to spill into localized area, an abscess can form.  This more commonly happens with diverticulitis but can happen with cancer as well.

It can i suppose: But not likely.  Pain from colon cancer is usually by intermittent obstruction or invasion of nerves, both advanced findings.  Early colon cancers are usually asymptomatic and found on colonoscopy.

Colon cancer: Colon cancer is a result of interaction between genetic factors and environmental factors, resulting in an abnormal and uncontrolled proliferation of gut cells. Environmental factors include diet, alcohol, smoking, certain bacterial infection, etc. Genetic change include mutations in tumor suppressor genes and dnr repair genes, both of which normal safeguard out genome.
