See below: You may have gallstones or a dysfunctional gallbladder.  A ultrasound and if necessary a hida scan should be able to determine this.

May be...: There could be a few reasons for your symptoms. I would see a physician for assessment of your rotator cuff. If the rotator cuff is ruled out as a cause of your discomfort then your physician can look into other potential reasons behind the pain and loss of strength.

It would be...: Extremely rare. You need to find the real cause.  An orthopedist would be a good start.  You did not mention what is causing arm disuse! pain! numbness! etc.

i've had a frozen shoulder for nearly 2 years still very pain full.  taking over-the-counter antinflammatories.  now looks and feels like muscle loss.

Need evaluation: Frozen shoulder can be caused by acute trauma, instability, cervical nerve compression, etc.  Long term, motion loss can become sever and muscle atrophy and weakness can result.  It is extremely important that you undergo a comprehensive evaluation and treatment program.  If condition does not improve, re-evaluation,  additional therapy and possibly more tests may be required.

Depends on tumor: A lot depends on the size location and function of the tumor.  A pituitary tumor may cause headaches, visual disturbances, and if it secretes a hormone, it can cause syndromes related to that.  Neck/shoulder pain and weight loss are not common for a pit tumor, unless the tumor actually came from somewhere else, or is caused by some other illness.  Get this checked out with your endocrinologist.

Possible: Gallbladder disease can cause weight loss and pain between the shoulder blades.  The pain intensifies when you eat a fatty meal.   It typically does not cause night sweat.  See your doctor for evaluation.

Shoulder: You may have injured the rotator cuff or labrum.  Follow up for xray and may need MRI if does not get better.
Start with ice and some anti-inflammatories like motrin.
