question on my diabetic medication... i take galvas 50mg and diaglucide. i would like to know the best way to take the medicine? i changed to taking the galvas in the morning before eating, and diaglucide after breakfast/dinner. suggestions?

question on my diabetes medication. i cannot take glucophage, it hurts my upper abdomen too much. so my doctor did put me on galvus with my diaglucide, which i take before breakfast. but i am afraid if galvus does cause weight gain or not?

why do none of the heartburn/reflux medications ever work? ive taken prilosec, protonix, prevacid, pepcid, tums &now im on nexium. i took 40mg before i ate breakfast & 20mg pepcid before i ate dinner. im still constantly getting heartburn & reflux?

Fine: It takes about 2-3 hours for this medication to even start working so you should be ok. It would have been more helpful to get more information about which other medications/supplements you take.

Depends...: not sure why you are on Cartia and metoprolol -- 2 medicines that both lower heart rate while controlling BP. Having said that, I would take Cartia and metoprolol at opposite times of day (one at night and the other in a.m.) Imdur at night. These are serious medicines for a young persons like yourself of 36.

i wake up every day with nausea making it impossible for me to have any breakfast,and it goes away in a couble of hours,ive had this for about 2 months, i am insuline resistant and dont take medication,changed my diet also and no help. not pregnant?

Meanwhile can try intermittent fasting end it went really hungry and your body can handle with fresh fruits and vegetable juice and vegetable soup still get well

: Unlikely. I do not know any reason for Chia seeds to result in a positive drug test. Make sure there are no poppy seeds in your lot of chia seeds.
For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

i'm curious as to whether pediasure and carnations breakfast essentials is healthy for my 2 year old? he eats but in 6 months he has gained no weight

Not gaining weight: Pediasure is better for a 2 years old as it is a meal in itself as it contains the right balance of carbs, proteins and fats for a growing child.  If he is a picky eater the try to give him a glass of Pediasure with meals 3 times a day.  If his eating is not a problem then his doctor will do more of a work up if he continues not to gain weight.  I hope this helps.

is eating instant oatmeal, instead of rice ,every breakfast good for constipation?

Well. yes.: Rice is a problem for constipation which is incredibly common in Asia for this reason. Enough water, vegetables and multiple sources of fiber would be good. Narcotics, rice, chronic use of cathartics would be bad.

is 137 high for glucose reading after having 2 cups of coffee with sugar and a instant breakfast drink ? should i be concerned ? or see my dr?

OK: Bs less than 140 after a meal is normal.  You are probably ok.  The better test for diabetes involves actual blood testing.  It's easily done and can be ordered by any physicians.  If you are worried, ask your doctor to get tested.
