Contracture: If you cannot extend your elbow it’s typically called a contracture. This usually happens over time. If it’s something acute that hasn’t been going on that long sometimes it could be from a loose body in the elbow joint that you may get from a trauma or arthritis overtime.

Arthritis?: Assuming you haven't injured it, it sounds like some sort of arthritis of the elbow. Some possible causes (e.g. arthritis due to infection) ree serious and might require immediate treatment to prevent permanent damage. Contact your doctor soon -- do it immediately if it is rapidly worsening or if you have fever, even if it means a visit to an urgent care clinic or hospital emergency department.

This : This problem should be much better after 4 weeks if it is really just a "sprain."  i would definitely have those x-rays re-reviewed, possibly by another radiologist, and that should not cost you anything extra either.

The problem sounds like it is in your elbow based on your description.  You could have a radial head fracture, possibly.  You should see an upper extremity specialist for this problem given the difficulty and duration and location of your problem.  The elbow may need to be re-x-rayed.  Sometimes repeat x-rays taken several weeks after an injury will show things (fractures) that the first set of x-rays did not.

Tendinitis: The most coon cause of those symptoms is tendinitis. This is an inflammation of a tendon where it attaches to the bone. Tennis elbow is pain on the outside of the elbow. You can get it with any type of repetitive activity, not just tennis.

Radial head sublux: You need a physical exam to be sure, but you could have injuries of any kind, from early arthritis to a tendonitis. That being said, pain at end range of straightening out your elbow can be a mild subluxation of your radial head outside of the annular ligament. This is not serious or in need of surgery, but treatment would improve it. Consider seeing a do or chiro for adjustment of elbow.
