does cannabis effectively lower the eye pressure and help manage glaucoma symptoms? i am not considering using it, just want to know if it is an option for me, as i have been struggling with the disease for more than seven years.

Although : Although marijuana does reduce the pressure in the eye, it only does so while someone is "high."  thus, in order for it to be an effective treatment, the person using it would have to be stoned around the clock.  Even the most dedicated pot-heads would probably find this to be a bit much.

If it is good, your brain will keep you aligned by holding the tracking that allows depth perception. Most of the info: I was able to discover about cannibas use and glaucoma was anecdotal, but I did find one study in the British Journal of Ophthalmology that supports its use in lowering intraocular pressure. Obviously one never wants to be in the position of using illegal drugs even if they have helpful properties. Discuss with your ophthalmologist. If approved, pursue channels for legal use within your state.

Blocked gland: Occasionally one of the glands on the surface of the eye will seal over and continue to secrete clear fluid which will make a bubble on the eye surface.  These are harmless, and will not affect the vision or the health of the eye.  Eventually most get big enough that they pop open (you will not feel this) and disappear.

If its on the eyelid: They could be cysts, though they would be painless.  Could be styes, which are certainly painful. Try warm compresses of at least ten minutes followed by lid massages.
