Please ask your OB: All ?S like this esp at the end of your pregnancy should be directed to your OB as your OB knows your situation and that is part of their job to answer all ?S u have, it could happen soon or never happen, losing your plug does not correlate with rupture of membranes, my advise to you is don't go past your due date 39-40 wks is the ideal time to deliver for the baby, i induce everyone by 40 wks.

Labor : It's best to wait until you are in labor. Some good general rules are contractions five minutes apart for at least an hour, when your water breaks or bleeding like a period.

Not likely!: I suppose some might think the process of labor and the experience of sexual climax in women could be linked, but to the best of my knowledge, one takes place in the brain and the other occurs at the opposite pole... I certainly do not think that an orgasm, or multiple orgasms, present you with increased risk of premature labor. You may want to review this with a midwife or obstetrician...

i'm 38 weeks & 6 days , dilated 4cm since last wed, lost my mucous plug too , no contractions only bad back pain can doc break my water or induced me ?

Yes: Can:  yes.  Should:  maybe.  

Most conscientious obstetricians do not induce a woman electively (just for convenience) before 39 weeks.  If this is your first pregnancy, and your cervix is not favorable, then inducting you now would increase your risk of cesarean section for failure to get into labor.  A favorable cervix is not only dilated, but thin, soft, forward, and with baby's head low.

Rupture of membranes: The waterbag can brake without the mucous plug coming out and/or the cervix dilating.

Yes: Yes. However if your water breaks you need to go to the hospital.

Could be: Sounds like could be early labor. If contractions get closer together, then would head to hospital.

you will almost surely go into labor within a week or so.
