i took cipro for 7 days for bladder infection and it gave me an awful yeast infection. i can get monistat to treat the yeast but don't know if i shoul?

Probably OK to treat: If you're sure it's a yeast infection with typical symptoms (itching, irritation, scant discharge usually thick and white), there's no reason not to treat it with monistat or any other "azole" drug. If in doubt, check with the doctor who prescribed the ciprofloxacin. For sure get checked in person if you treat with monistat and it doesn't clear up in a few days.

OK: I don't think it's A problem to use both agents. Diflucan, at a single oral dose,  at times doesn't clear a vaginal yeast infection and the dose has to be repeated.

Yes: You can take advil and Cipro (ciprofloxacin) concomitantly without significant drug interaction.

Monistat 1 (tioconazole): You may have some improvement on symptoms on day 1 of Monistat 1– if none by day 3 tell your physician (in case you have a different type of infection).  Usually have robust relief w/in 7 days.
