should i take n-acetyl cysteine before or after drinking alcohol and much should i take? same question for milk thistle.

Do not take any: Alcohol is a poison that never did anybody any good, ever and you should not take it. What do you want to take milk thistle for? None of these things, including N-acetyl cysteine is going to do you any good and there only potential for harm.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

i have a hepatic steatosis caused by alcohol, i decided to take milk thistle, but i don't know safe doses, can you please advise me how much (minimum dose) leaves and seeds can i consume of milk thistle daily that it was safe?

: Milk thistle is an OTC product and thus there is NO REGULATION of what they can put in it. I recommend not using any supplements as they Fido not have to demonstrate they are safe OR effective in doing anything.  Beware.

i heard that milk thistle need alcohol to extract sylamarin so it's hard to take it as tea.can't i eat the seeds directly from the plant fresh?

You can but...: Apparently you need to take quite a bit to have much of a benefit. The seeds contain about 3-6% silymarin so you need to take about 1/2 ounce of seeds (approximately 1 tbsp.) daily to get a therapeutic amount. They can be eaten whole or ground. liver pain from binging on alcohol for 1 yr. decided to take milk thistle tablets now i feel nausea after? what shall i do ? quit drinking months back

Examination: Talk to your primary care physician.  You may have done some damage with your alcohol abuse.  S/he can evaluate you for this and treat or refer you to the appropriate doctor.

Yes for both: Start with smoking; an increased risk of sudden infant death syndrome, add 2-3x incerase in bronchitis& ear infections & other respiratory issues. Add decreased growth & exposure to nicotine in the milk  alcohol decreases milk production & passes in small amounts to baby.Even small amounts are potentially toxic to babies growing brain.At least you are breast feeding, that's good.

i got alcohol in my eye last night, it may be rubbing, possibly drinking alcohol, i washed out with water and milk. it is burning and feels like sand paper is in it.  please help

You : You need to either see an ophthalmologist or go to an er asap.  You most likely have a chemical "burn" or inflammation of the cornea and will need topical medication to help it heal and make it feel better right away.  Do not delay.

besides taking milk thistle, what should i do to reverse the effects of a fatty liver (not from drinking)?

Weight loss...: Fatty liver disease is most often a consequence of the foods we eat and being overweight.  There is no specific treatment (drug or supplement) effective for reversing fatty liver.  If your bmi is > 24, losing weight will result in improvement in ast/alt and reduction of fat in the liver.  Certainly elimination of alcohol (if you drink) is recommended.  Stop the milk thistle. i sometimes drink green tea and herbal supplement containing turmeric, milk thistle . i still drink green tea but stopped taking the herbal supplement a day or two ago since i wanted to start my pack of combined ocs. can this affect my birth control?

: No it should not. But taking a healthy diet should be enough. Supplements are than not needed and are gotten rid of the body. You can also save some money

Stomach pain : Let's say you are taking omeprazole for a stomach problem like gastritis, reflux or an ulcer. Let's then say that the stomach problem is like a smoldering fire of inflammation which being helped by the omeprazole. Alcohol is like pouring gasoline on the fire. Alcohol could be one of the reasons you are being treated with omeprazole.  Give your body a break, stop the alcohol.

Ok, not recommended: Aspirin can add to stomach irritation but with proper precaution not contraindicated.
