Possible Infection?: It could be related to the hemorrhage, depending on its location.  Usually, blood is from trauma to the penis or an infection in the prostate.  If it is a single episode, it is usually not significant.  If there are other symptoms or repeated episodes, then, you need to be checked for infections.

If you are having unprotected sex, you should be getting checked regularly for infections, anyway.

Inside water balloon: Remember they are inside a water balloon inside a muscular balloon that doesn't have nerves. Only when the baby is big enough to push against other organs outside the balloon will you start to feel it.

It is good for Cysts: Ultrasound alone is not a great test for the abdomen. A ct scan is much better to evaluate the abdominal problems. But ultrasound is a good test to look for a cyst in any organ like pancreas or liver/ kidneys and elsewhere in the body.

Radiology: If a patient needs a scrotal ultrasound, the test is performed by a radiologist.  Some urologists will also perfrom scrotal ultrasounds in thier offices.  Your physician should first determine if you need the ultraound.

PID and Infertility: Ultrasound cannot see scar tissue, or "adhesions". A hysterosalpingogram (HSG) is an X-ray procedure where dye is injected into the uterus through the cervix. It can identify scar tissue inside the uterine cavity and diagnose "blocked tubes", or "tubal occlusion". It can identify fibroids and polyps which can also contribute to problems with conceiving. Laparoscopy can identify pelvic  adhesions.

Difficult: If you have had many sex partners you may try to figure out who you were with about 20 weeks ago.  If unsure consider dna testing when the baby is born.

What did your doc sa: Say ? At 15 weeks u cannot miss seeing the baby but there are many other reason why u can miss your period or have abnormal periods so I am sure your doctor has started a workup or should start one, diagnose the cause and start treating you.

A head/neck US: would generally be directed at a specific anatomic site rather than the entire head and neck, so if the request was to evaluate the submandibular region, then yes.  If it was directed toward another area, then probably not.

Yes and Yes: There are 3 options, none of which you should use "just 'cause." there's a ct scan of the coronary arteries - worst option because the stent scatters the xrays. There's a repeat cath with dye injection (angiography) and there's a repeat cath with something called ivus which uses ultrasound in the vessel itself to check on the vessel. There's a new thing called oct too which also needs a cath.
