Healing canker sore: Good day;
  Some OTC canker sore medications use a mild cautery or caustics to deaden nerve endings and lessen symptoms. After a few days the dead tissue should flake off. Keep the area vaselined  until this happens.

: Interaction of both mouthwashes causing a white film .The canker sore will go away in 4-7 days. If a lot of pain have pharmacist make up a solution of Debactrol or have a dentist use a soft tissue laser on it.

Yes: No problem with this. Do not overdo it because you may make it worse. Warm salt water rinses (1 tsp/8oz ) 4-5 times a day really help. Dry the area with a Q-tip first then apply oragel or baby oragel with a Q-tip. Good Luck. Good to consider the effects on your baby.

Not likely: Herpes tends to stick around for several days.  Herpes lesions typically reoccur in the same place, form on the skin as groups of small vesicles, have a clear discharge, and crust upon healing.  If the sore went away overnight, it's not likely herpes.

Try: Try Orabase or Orajel.  Make sure it's the variety that contains Benzocaine.  Dab onto sore spot with a Q-tip.  If lesion is not gone in 7-10 days call your Dentist for an examination.

Yes: Cancer can be an ulcer. Salt on an ulcer can cause pain.

Bee sting: What a horrible spot to get stung. Take a dose of Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and be checked as your tongue is part of your airway. All the best.

Aphthous ulcer: Try warm saline gargle for 1 week and it should resolve. Take advil (ibuprofen) or Motrin for the pain as needed.
